Year 5~Day 173 +144/365 AND Day 1634: Las Vegas May 2011 - Bridge Over Hoover Dam & Dinner Cruise on Lake Mead
Jim and Judy hung around the resort most of the day since Judy has a sore throat. Then we drove out to Hoover Dam. We accidentally drove over the new bridge and found ourselves in Arizona. Fortunately, they have a "turn-around" on the expressway, and we came back to the turn for Hoover Dam. We found a parking lot where people can climb to the top of the bridge and walk along it. We didn't do that today. Next we drove to Lake Mead Boat Tours and boarded the Desert Princess and enjoyed a delicious dinner while we cruised over to Hoover Dam and back to the dock. Then we drove back to the resort.

Typical Sunday scene really, housework and yet more housework, today I washed dishes, cleaned the kitchen, wiped down the fridge/freezer, watered all the plants both inside and out, swept and hoovered and now I am about to go mop the hard floors and yet it will still look and smell faintly like a student doss house *sigh*
